As Maryland natives, Robert & Abigail chose to have their engagement session in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. We were lucky enough to use the beautiful D.C. National Gallery of Art early Saturday morning, before the busy tourist crowds.

We spent the morning exploring the gallery and the surrounding mall, capturing a mix of portraits and candid moments along the way. The architecture and scenery around the National Gallery gave us plenty of great spots to work with, while the quieter morning made it easy to keep things relaxed and focused on the two of them.

It was a fun morning in D.C. and a great way to capture this special time for Robert & Abigail as they get ready for their wedding day.
